Meet GiGi Buddie, Jesse Lumb, Christina Quintana (CQ), and Margaret Grace Hee; the cast and creative team behind ENTER YOUR SLEEP, presented live and on the web on December 3, 4, 5, and 6 by Zoom Theatre!

 

GiGi Buddie - GLORY ZICO

GiGi Buddie is an American Indian artist and student pursuing a degree in theatre performance at Pomona College. Most recently, her acting credits include roles in Daphne's Dive, Pippin and Metamorphoses on the Seaver stage, though her passion for theatre extends beyond acting. She works as a lighitng technician and has pursued studies in lighting design and master electrican work. She will be studying abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre School in fall 2021, but while currently on leave from school, she is interning at the Arctic Cycle -- working to create social change at the intersection of climate justice and art. She is grateful to Margaret Hee for her constant support and kindness, to Pat Nims for this wonderful opportunity, to her stage manager Ellie Schwartz for her unmatched work ethic, and to her talented and lovely partner in crime for this adventure, Jesse Lumb.

Jesse Lumb - P.K. WHYLDE

Jesse Lumb hails from Connecticut. He most recently appeared in The Glass Menagerie at Ross Valley Players, and in Ripcord at Altarena Playhouse. In 2017 he co-founded Birdbath Theatres, directing their inaugural production of The Aliens by Annie Baker. Favorite roles in the Bay Area have included Dr. Astrov in Uncle Vanya, Leo in 4000 Miles, and Jack in Dead Accounts. He has also appeared in West Side Story and Grease on Mount Tamalpais with The Mountain Play. Next spring he looks forward to producing a play he wrote for Zoom entitled Jasper. Offstage Jesse enjoys playing music and doing outreach for Marin County Free Library on the Bookmobile.

Christina Quintana (CQ) - Playwright

Christina Quintana (CQ) is a writer with Cuban and Louisiana roots. Her plays include Citizen Scientist (BSC Burman New Play Award), Azul (Southern Rep), Scissoring (INTAR, available Dramatists Play Service), and Evensong (Astoria Performing Arts Center), among others. Most recently, CQ joined the third cohort of Audible’s Emerging Playwrights commission. The recipient of residencies and fellowships from WP Theater, MacDowell, Van Lier New Voices at the Lark, Queer/Art, Lambda Literary, she served as staff writer on ABC's The Baker and the Beauty. CQ is grateful to the whole team for bringing new virtual life to Enter Your Sleep, first produced by Margaret Hee’s company, Baby Crow Productions, in 2014. For more, visit cquintana.com

Margaret Grace Hee - Director

Margaret Grace Hee is a theatre artist focused on developing new plays and devised work that influence tangible positive change in the world. She is the Theatre programs Director for SF Sacred Heart, Stuart Hal and Convent as well as the Drama Teacher for San Marin High School. Margaret received her BFA in Acting from the Santa Fe Institue of Art and Design and her MFA in Directing New School of Performing Arts School of Drama. She is the founding Artistic Director of Baby Crow Productions for which she played the role of Austin in True West and has directed Whore: a kids play (Edinburgh Fringe Festival '17) , Sapien Sapien Sapien, Cowboy Mouth, Cowboys #2, Cast of Characters, "Live" from the Bullet Stopper, and Enter Your Sleep, among others. As a freelance director, Margaret has worked with Ugly Rhino, Wide Eyed Productions, Dream Theatre, The Midtown Int. Play Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Fringe NYC. Selected assistant directing credits include: Everything You Touch, dir. Jessica Kubzansky (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre); Henry VI P.I , dir. Vanessa Morocco & The Tempest, dir. Geoffrey Kent (Colorado Shakespeare Festival); Seawife, dir. Liz Carlson (Cape Cod Theatre Project); The Boys Room, dir. Sandy Shinner (Victory Gardens); Naked Radio Live, dir. Laura Savia (Naked Angels); 24 Hour Musicals, dir. Kathy Najimy (24 Hour Plays). As an actress she is represented by Gray Talent and has worked with Victory Gardens, Eclipse Theater, Adventure Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Soft Cage Films, The Agency, and New School for Drama.
